The Made In America Store, which is known for carrying 100% American made products, now supplies peanuts from Hubbard Peanut Company on it’s shelves in Elma, New York. The Hubbard Peanut Company has a rich history of how to defy the odds and how the American dream can still be attained. With four different distinct flavors, these 12 ounce tins, that are always filled to the brim, are sure to be a hit.

Hubbard Peanut Company started back in 1954 when Dot Hubbard decided she couldn’t go back to Franklin Elementary school to teach, due to having a baby at home and twins on the way. With what limited time she had, she startaed to cook peanuts at her home in Southampton County. She began selling her peanuts in one ounce bags to anyone in town she could find for ten cents. People all over town started asking for Hubbard’s peanuts, even though it was widely known she was charging almost double than the local competition, a Suffolk county brand called Planter’s Peanuts.

When Hubbard couldn’t keep up with capacity, she had her neighbors and friends skin peanuts so she could cook and package the peanuts at the end of the day. Eight years later, Hubbard and her family had to move to a larger facility, the five room house would no longer do. Over the years the Hubbard Peanuts Company grew with the times, relying on neighbors and friends to get to where they are today, a perfect American Dream story.

The Made In America Store offers four different flavors of peanuts, Home Cooked Salted, Home Cooked Unsalted, Butter Toffee and Sweet Heat. Each flavor comes in twelve ounce tins that are generously filled to the very top.

The Made In America Store and ACE Flags Come Together To Bring New Flags And Awareness About Our American Flag

With Spring coming into full effect, the Made In America Store and Ace Flags are coming together with new flag designs and some awareness that commonly gets overlooked. Ace Flag, which distributes 100% American made flags, are one of the many vendors that make the commitment of being USA made.

The Made In America Store, which sells 100% American made products, has teamed up with Ace Flag to offer new and improved American flags. The store previously only offered a few sizes of American flags but now carries a wide range from hand held flags, garden flags and different military flags of each branch. This change gives consumers options to how they want to present their flag, instead of the traditional flagpole.

Consumers can shop for all American made flags at the the Made In America Store website

Ace Flag was founded in 1937 and since day one the company has been committed to offering their customers quality products and information. These characteristics and commitment to 100% American made flags are what makes this partnership a perfect match. Both companies want to make a note that quality is a prime trait that needs to be present in each and all of their products in order to sell.

With the new selection of flags that aim to appeal to everyone, the Made In America Store and Ace Flag want consumers to be aware of where their flags are made. A country’s flag is more than just a symbol of which nationality an individual is from, and the American flag is no exception. The history of the American flag is full of pride and obstacles that were overcome to make it the nation that is is today.

“No disrespect should be shown to the flag of the United States of America.” Is quoted from Section 8 of the National Flag Code. “The flag represents a living country and is itself considered a living thing.”

The Made In The America Store and Ace Flag want to emphasize how important it is to buy American, especially when it comes to the national flag. The American flag is everything this country stands for, the American dream, democracy and the freedom everyone has today. Buying an all American made flag supports these mentalities and shows that consumers stand behind the message. Buying an American flag that was made overseas is almost hypocritical to the cause.

Consumers can visit the Ace Flag website to view proper flag etiquette and other news about the American made company.

“Our flag is our national ensign, pure and simple, behold it! Listen to it! Every star has a tongue, every stripe is articulate.” -Robert C. Winthrop (1809-1894), Senator from Massachusetts

Made In America Store to Honor Veterans on ‘Welcome Home Vietnam Vets’ Weekend with Two Days of Recognition
The Made In America Store is honoring it’s military personnel, both serving and retired, with a special weekend at their store location in Elma, New York. The honorary weekend comes with the national holiday of ‘Welcome Home Vietnam Vets Day.

Mark Andol, Owner Of The Made In America Store, Honoring A Veteran

“We need to bring back respect to our active military personnel and retired veterans that put their lives on the line for this country”
The Made In America Store has been committed to military personnel, both currently serving and retired, since the opening of the store in April of 2010. On a select few military and American holidays, veterans get a special perk at the store, on top of an everyday discount on their entire purchase. On March 30th and 31st, the Made In America Store will be honoring all US veterans, specifically the Vietnam vets with a special weekend and a thank you.

Mark Andol, owner of the Made In America Store, reminds consumers that without the men and women serving in the military, we wouldn’t be where we are today. To make sure all of our military personnel get the appreciation they deserve, the Made In America Store offers discounts to them everyday and a “thank you” with every visit.

“We need to bring back respect to the veterans that fought and lost their lives for this country” says Mark Andol. “These Americans made a sacrifice for our country, it’s time to give back and show the same respect they deserve and fought for.”

The Made In America Store wants to pay tribute to the Vietnam vets and remind everyone that even though these troops weren’t greeted when coming home, they still sacrificed their lives to protect America.

In 1973 all the American soldiers were withdrawn from Vietnam and the troops were met with hostility and criticism. These men who made sacrifices were frustrated and felt unappreciated when coming home. They dealt with political flack and a lot of the population protesting the war to begin with, there was no praise for the soldiers.

Over nine million military personnel served during the Vietnam War. Of that massive number, 58,156 US troops lost their lives and 303,704 US soldiers were wounded in action. The US Senate passed a resolution back in 2011 declaring March 30th “Welcome Home Vietnam Veterans Day.” Currently the entire nation recognizes this day of commemoration and to pay respects the Vietnam veterans never received when they first arrived home.

The Made In America Store will be offering grilled hot dogs all day for all veterans and active duty free of charge.

Made In America Store Starts Selling Powdered Chrusciki. Comes With A Heartfelt ‘American Dream’ Story
The Made In America Store has been devoted to selling all USA-made products from food, toys, tools to clothing. The ambition to create such a store is a perfect resemblance of the American dream. The Robieniek’s family baked fresh Chruscikis, made with all American ingredients, and were a perfect candidate for the Made In America Store. Teddy and Hania Robieniek’s story is not one to write off and shows you can still make it in America with the right spirit.

“Buffalo Angel Wings”

Elma, New York March 13, 2012

The Made In America Store is a strong icon for what people can do in the states. Vendors who manufacture their products with 100% American made components come to the store to sell their items. Along the way, the Robieniek family came across the store wanting to sell their chruscikis. The Polish treat made by the Robieniek family also comes with a perfect example of the American dream.

Back in 1984, the original owners of the would be Chrusciki Bakery, lived in communist Poland and were looking for a brighter future. Owners Teddy and Hania Robieniek left Gdanks, Poland and their two children for the United States to provide a future for their family. The couple left everything behind for this opportunity, including their homes, jobs and two daughters.

The Robieniek family eventually settled in Buffalo, New York to establish the bakery. After a lot of hard work to make it in America, Monika and Ania Robieniek were finally able to travel to the United States to be reunited with their parents. In 1990, the Chrusciki bakery was created as the location we recognize today. The story of two people going against all odds to travel to America, leaving everything behind and creating a business with just the clothes on their back is the perfect example of the American dream. The Made In America Store recognized their efforts, and in turn share it with their customers.

The Made In America Store is located at 900 Maple Road in Elma, New York and sells 100% American made products. Made In America Store Adds Three More Johnnie Ryan Flavors To It’s All-Star Roster

The Made In America Store adds three new flavors of soda at its store that sells 100% American made products. One of the best selling products at the Made In America Store, Johnnie Ryan Soda, offers 100% pure cane sugar to give a natural sweet flavor.

Soda is definitely a staple in the American persona. When you think of soda, what brands come to name? Pepsi? Coke? What about a off-name brand kind of soda? Maybe a local brand that stands out in your community?

Johnnie Ryan Soda originated in Niagara Falls, New York, where it is still manufactured today. It’s a big family hit for it’s vintage persona and sweet natural taste. It’s made with 100% pure cane sugar, so the ingredients in the bottle isn’t a small paragraph of things you’ve never heard of. Who doesn’t love their beverage in a glass bottle?

Flavors range from cola, cherry, ginger ale, cream soda and root beer. To add to that awesome roster, the Made In America Store now offers birch beer, black cherry and diet cola! With eight flavors, the store offers a flavor for everyone.

One approach in my search for the worlds artisanal wonders is to replace, slowly, those things I use daily, be they clothes or watches or bags or electronics, with items I’m able to source from anywhere, that simply aren’t made in China.  Let me be very clear: I have no beef against China, its beautiful people, its wondrous history, nor its ever expanding influence in the global marketplace in terms of the power that is its industry.
My goal, simply, is to gain a greater appreciation for things that are not manufactured, but are made; things that are craftwork from old trained hands and thoughtful eyes.
Today my exampled upgrade is a pair of my shoes.

From the start I have never disliked my existing pair of square toed Dockers proStyle Oxfords.  They are relatively comfortable, and have been a reliable piece of my weekly footwear for over two years.  They are, however, plainly labeled as “Made in China.”
I began the search for their replacement over six months ago, and in looking for shoes made in either America or Europe I found a design and fell in love with it from Allen Edmonds, the Strand.  If you’d have asked me a year ago if I would ever own a pair of leathers to cover my feet with such intricate detail, such audacity in their design (the broque styling is classic to many of you I’m sure, but completely outside my comfort level) and made to such standards
I’d have laughed.  I’d been keeping my eyes open for them for some time until I happened across a used pair on eBay and decided to go for it.
So far they’ve gotten lots of accolades from those around me and are smashing in anything from a three piece grey suit to jeans and a sport coat, but the Strands, built on the Allen Edmonds 5 Last, is a little narrow for my pretty average foot.  One of the gambles in buying used.
Comparison:
Dockers proStyle in Tan leather (burnished leather uppers) - $49.99 Kohl’s new - Made in China
Allen Edmonds Strand in Walnut Calf leather (premium calfskin uppers) - $182 - eBay used - Made in Port Washington, WI USA

When Kelly started her crafts business, her sister reminded her, “Your products are Made in the U.S.A., you should let your customers know this as they order from you.” Many people who are shopping actually look for Made in the U.S.A. products and they are eager to buy and support American made products and businesses. They know Made in the U.S.A. products mean jobs for U.S.A. families and a better American economy.

Kelly’s sister ordered her some Made in the U.S.A. stickers (found at MaverickLabel.com). They came in patriotic red, white and blue. Kelly added them to her craft care instruction labels. They were perfect, and fit right on the back of the label. Kelly found it was quick and easy to add the Made in the U.S.A. labels to her knitted sweaters, knitted baby items and other crafts.
